Carp Square Belgium
After the success of the first Carp Square during the eleventh edition of the Utrechtse Hengelsport-en Visbotenbeurs. ‘Carp Square is back, with a new inspiring fishing getaway. On Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th March 2013, Carp Square debuts in the famous Nekkerhallen in Mechelen (Belgium). It will be the first large carp fair in Belgium for the past few years. The exhibition in Mechelen will be around 6.000m2. The multifunctional character of the complex and the perfect surroundings makes Nekkerhal the ideal location.
Focusing on carp fishing
At the exhibition there will be a complete range of carp supplies, including large and small suppliers from carp country. Within the event the focus will be upon ‘the last meter’ including , the appropriate food and bait, lead, underline, hook, and hook bait. Including this every carp angler also needs fishing hardware including rods, idle mills, rod pods, scoop sprig balance, bite alarm, sheathing, sheaths, clothing, bags and tents. This large and small equipment will all be available to see and buy in Nekkerhal.
Events programme
In addition to the material side of this event there will also be a promotional and informational side of the event. This will include demonstrations, lectures and the opinions and advice of renowned carp anglers. This will include lectures by Michael Aubry, Chris de Clercq, Mark Pansar, Rik Van Landschoot, Mark Hoedemakers, Niko Vervaet and Gunther Poelmans. This event is for experienced and novice anglers and others interested in the sport.
Entry
The event is on 23rd and 24th March 2013, opening times are between 10am and 5pm. Tickets are on sale at the box office during the event and cost 7.50 Euros per person, under 12s are free.
